Biomedical Engineers combine engineering principles and biology to meet the needs of healthcare facilities and medicine. They design and develop medical and surgical instruments as well as test prototypes. The work that Biomedical Engineers do is not only limited to the demonstration of equipment to medical personnel. These engineers also report research findings through scientific publications, oral presentations, and formal documents.
